INKspired Showcase Stampin' Blends Challenge 145 -

Hello everyone It has been awhile since I have played a challenge - feels good to be making a card. Now you may have come across from the fabulous Teneale Williams so I can't wait to see what she has made

Teneale has given us the Stampin' Blends to showcase which I love..now what to use with it. Had to use a Sale-a-bration stampset - Feels Like Home.

I love how you can colour this as much or as little as you like.

Used the Bark 3D embossing folder for the layered piece of Fresh Fressia to go behind my picture

Lastly the inside of the card - I used the stampset Garden Wishes.

Now it is onto the amazing Barbara Williams

Until next time
Happy stamping, stay safe and
be kind to one another.

INKspired Sketch 141 -

Hello everyone thank you for popping in. You may have come from my friend Katrina Healy and I can't wait to see what she has made for this hop. With this hop I decided to use the Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards & envelopes on page 127 of the main catalogue - great value and have cute envelopes as well. I teamed the card with the Hand-Penned Designer Series paper.

Of course I used the Party Puffins stampset on page 67 - they are so cute.

In the picture below you can see the card & envelope. I added a sheet of the Hand- Penned DSP to the card front after I had attached strips of dsp over it and wrapped linen thread around it. Then I adhered to the card front.

Used the die from Hippo & Friends on page 163 to cut out the shape in Basic white. Stamped the party puffin on in memento ink and coloured with Stampin' Blends. Stamped Happy Birthday in memento ink straight onto the dsp.

Hope you enjoy my party puffin card!

Thank you for stopping by
and now it is onto Teneale Williams

Until next time
Happy stamping, stay safe and
be kind to one another.

INKspired Showcase Some Stripes challenge 140 -

Hello and welcome to the sunday night INKspired hop. You may have come across from Katrina Healy and I can't wait to see what she has made this fortnight.

Teneale has given us stripes to work with this fortnight.

I am loving the new In Colours - they are so soft. Chose as a base card the Pale Papaya.

Folded the card back on itself and added a striped piece of Hand-Penned DSP to the front. Used the Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut a layer of Pale Papaya and then a Basic White layer for the top. Stamped the flower from the Color & Contour stampset in Soft Succulent onto the Basic White and coloured in the front using the  In Color  Stampin' Blends Combo Pack of Soft Succulent & Pale Papaya.

Added a bow of Soft Succulent Open weave ribbon to the front - so easy to tie a bow with it.  Added some Genial Gems to the front of my card.

Inside of my card above and we are finished.

Thank you for stopping by and now it is onto

Until next time
Happy stamping, stay safe and
be kind to one another.

INKspired sketch Challenge 139 -

Hi and welcome to another INKspired sunday night challenge. You may have hopped across from my friend Katrina Healy and I can't wait to see what she has made.

With this sketch I started with the new In Colour - Polished Pink and the Designer Series Paper to match.

I used a piece of Polish Pink and embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and attached the DSP over it at s slant and then tied linen thread around them.

Used the Layering Circles die and stamped it with a stamp from Hand-Penned stampset on page 105. The happy birthday came from the Sweet as a Peach stampset. The scallop die came from the Penned Flowers Dies on page 159.

Thank you for stopping by.
now it is onto the lovely Narelle Macey & I can't wait to see what she has made for tonight.

Until next time

ESAD Farewell to the Annual 2020-2021 Catalogue

Hello and welcome everyone to the ESAD farewell to the anual catalogue...it is always so sad to see much loved stampsets go. ESAD is a group just for Australian & New Zealand  SU demonstrators who give support to one another. More important today as we share ANZAC day with our kiwi neighbours across the ditch. Just a bit of history -  ANZAC is an acronym for Australian and New Zealand  Army Corps which was a grouping of several divisions created in the Great War of 1914-18. On the 25th April 1915 the ANZACS were part of the allied expedition that set out to capture the Gallipoli peninsula. Each year we remember all our fallen service men & women from all wars.

Now you may have hopped across from Denise Buetler and I can't wait to see what she has used. Now tonight I had a hard time deciding so I chose my favourite first - Beautiful Friendship on page 115.

This stampset will be kept as it is so versatile and I love making quick easy cards with it. Also in the top left hand corner is the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots that are retiring as well.
My next card is using Waterfront on page 129.

It is a great stampset for beginners to use as they can make a card so quickly.

Now I do love making cards with scenes and leaving them blank for words until I need them.

This stampset used on the card above is called Snowfront which is on page 58 of the catalogue. I have also used the embossing folder Subtle 3D on the Highland Heather layer which is also retiring...sigh.

Thank you for joining us tonight and now please hop across to Rochelle Blok and I can't wait to see her creation.

INKspired Sketch Challenge 134 -

Well hello everyone and welcome to another sunday blog hop. You may have hopped across from  Katrina Healy and I can't wait to see what she has made.

We have a great sketch that Teneale has given us below which I should look at more often - my card seems different  but the concept is there and blame it on the weather we have had - IT issues.

Well I have strawberries trying to ripen in my garden but the weather has not been the best for that! I decided to use the great Sweet Strawberry Bundle on page 44 on the Mini Catalogue.

I decided to start with Poppy Parade as my main card and ran another piece of Poppy Parade using the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder as I love the texture.

Used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies where I cut a piece of Very Vanilla and stamped the leaves and flowers over it in Granny Apple Green ink.
Stamped strawberries in Memento ink and Poppy Parade ink and leaves in Granny Apple Green ink and punched them out. The words came from the same stampset.

Thank you for popping in to look at out cards and please do hop around and check everyone's out. Now I am waiting to see what
Allison McLeod has made for us tonight.

Until next time
Happy stamping, stay safe and
be kind to one another.

True Love INKspired Showcase challenge 133 -

Hi and welcome to our sunday night hop tonight is a showcase challenge. You may have come

across from Katrina Healy and I can't wait to see what she has made.

Well I love flowers and I love colouring with my Stampin' Blends so it was which flowers do I choose.

Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green were my Stampin' Blends Colours. This is great dsp to grab a pack of to make heaps of cards with.

Chose Melon Mambo cardstock as my base. Added a layer of Basic Black that had been embossed using the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder.

Coloured my three flowers with the light and dark Melon Mambo Stampin' Blends. The leaves with both light and dark Granny Apple Green. Fussy cut them from the dsp - Love these flowers to colour in.

Used the Happy Birthday from the Art Gallery Bundle as I love the squiggly cutout (not sure what it's real name is)  from that die set. Popped the Happy Birthday down on the Basic Black and then popped the flowers up on Stampin' Dimensionals.

I did add some pearls to this card but after I had taken the pictures....

Thank you for stopping by and now it is onto Allison McLeod.

Until next time
Happy stamping, stay safe and
be kind to one another.
